Some 'Ecologists' at a local school function were greeted on to the dais by roses for which the ‘ecologists’ protested against Roses saying that the flowers are of foreign origin and one must use only Chrysanthemums and Marigolds…swadeshi flowers should only be used is what they said..….BOYCOTT  ROSES for any occasion was their slogan!

This appalled the audience and also angered the teachers of the organizing committee alike(my mom was one of them)…

It is a pity that the ecologists instead of concentrating more on the subject of protecting the environment were interested in creating a war between swadeshi and Videshi flowers..isn’t Prakruthi or Nature a Universal Creation of God?

So here I went researching on the ORIGIN of flowers..what is desi and videshi??..

Excerpts from the angry letter written by a teacher to the ‘ecologist’..here goes...

"If you really want to be a swadeshi y don’t u change your foreign ‘origin’ pant and shirt and hairstyle? Dont use foreign language English even..

Avoid potatoes,beans,carrots,beet root,cabbage  since they are foreign origin…Give up Grapes,Apples,Peaches,Pears,Cherries,Plums as they are also foreign origin…(HAHAHA)

Do not mix Ecology and Swadeshi ideas.Treat Ecology as a world subject and it’s the duty of every individual to protect,maintain and rejuvenate his surroundings.If you research further you will realize that there are many people in India whose Ancestral origin is NOT from India …

Let your ideas bring about universal brotherhood and stress on ecological preservation rather than corrupting the young minds of our school children…"

This research and letter silenced the ‘ECOLOGIST’till date….HAHAHAHA..
